1) If you do not already have a job, you should consider getting one on the campus.

You will probably work with at least five people. You will have a good chance to bond with them, especially because you are not likely to spend most of your time at work studying. Working on campus is a good way to develop relationships in addition to earning money.

2) It is incumbent on you to get to know your classmates well.

If you arrive at a class early, you should use this free time to chat with your fellow students. You can also talk with them on the way to your next class.

There will be times when you will work with classmates on projects. Once your group is assembled, it is likely that you will exchange telephone numbers. The purpose of this is to make it easier for the group members to keep in touch in order to make sure that there are no problems with the project.

You should ask your fellow members if you may call them just to talk. If they give you permission, you should do so.

3) You will probably see people of various cultures and races.

You should not restrict yourself to only socializing or looking for a romantic relationship with those who are of the same race as you. If you do this, you might miss out on finding those who are the right ones for you.

4) You should try to find your classmates on Facebook.

If you find them there, you should send them a request to add you as a “friend”. Participating in this process will enable you to easily communicate with them for the rest of your life.

5) There are other good methods you can use.

  • You can join some of the organizations on campus and participate in or attend the activities that are held there.
  • You can also try to meet everyone who lives in the dormitory, eat with others in the cafeteria and walk around the library to sit down and chat with various students.
