Unfortunately, your mom won’t come every morning and pick up after you, after a night of hard partying anymore, so it’s important for the sanity of your roommate to keep the place somewhat clean. A lot of these products make it so easy so you can do it while hung-over or drunk if need be.
Clorox Sanitary Wipes
Any college students must have for sticky situations, it’s an awesome three-in-one, disinfecting, cleaning, and stain removing power house. One quick swipe over the homemade beer pong table and hurray, party-on! Cleans window sills that are dirty from cigarettes when your friends smoke illegally, run it over the keyboard when it gets dusty, and use it to clean the inside of your fridge during room checkout. Its uses are endless.
Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Cleaner
Even though the cleaning people come every morning, the shower and sink can be skive from mid-afternoon on due to whole floors of co-ed’s going in and out. Avoid the unseemly trip to the campus hospital by brushing some of this on the shower before you use it. If you want to beat foot fungus with shower flip flops, it’s better to be safe when you absolutely have to touch the sides of the shower.

An essential after late night chip and cookie binges during your study sessions. Not only is it efficient, portable, and cheap, it’s quiet as a mouse, so no one will be bothered if you’re using it late at night. It doubles as a carpet or tile cleaner as well, which means double your money for college students on a budget.
Bleach
This is an awesome must have product for any unnecessary spills you don’t want your RA to find out about or you feel bad making the cleaning staff clean up. It’s also helpful to clean unseemly toilets in freshman dorms or do-it-yourself hair dye parties in the girl’s dorm.
Febreeze
A miracle to mask any icky smells from cigs, alcohol, or puke from a fun night out. Also, works as a day brightener when you spray it on your comforter at night and go to sleep. When you wake up it still smells slightly fresh making you feel like you’re in a hotel room with fresh sheets rather than a dorm where you haven’t done laundry in a few weeks.
